In this video, Entrepreneur Network partner Bryan Elliott discusses failure and perspective with WeWork co-founder and chief creative officer Miguel McKelvey.

McKelvey explains how for some people, failure is a finish line, but for others it is a point from which to spring forward. Sometimes failure is a low point, though that means you can only go up from there.

When McKelvey moved to New York City, he took a risk and understood that if he failed, he would have to move back home to his parents’ and figure out the next step from there. He was willing to take that risk.

McKelvey says he believes that entrepreneurship is all about perspective. To reach success, you must understand risks, be willing to take them anyway and move forward without worrying about the consequences.
